One criteria that most people look for when choosing the destination of there holiday and when in particular to visit is the weather. The magnificent stretches of sand that occupy the stunning limestone cliffs submerged in the Andaman Sea mean there is never a bad time to visit these glorious sets of islands. The sun shines over the stunning group of islands most days of the year with the exception of the occasional daily down pour during the rainy season. The islands is at it’s busiest during the months of November to May which coincides with when the weather it at it's spectacular best. Ferries arrive every day of the week from the mainland to Ton Sai Pier bringing visitors to the islands shores. There is rarely a spare seat on the ferries or speedboats during this period which is evident to how stunning and popular the islands are.

The beaches, it’s surrounding waters and what lies beneath them are certainly the star attractions of the show. Visitors charter long tail boats or pay for organised tours and hop between the beaches and islands around both islands of the Andaman sea. Snorkeling in particular is one of the more popular past times for day trippers. Most of the beaches are surrounded in there shallow waters with an abundance of coral reef gardens making the waters a snorkelers paradise. Alternatively relax on the soft sands and admire the stunning views of paradise. Scuba divers from as far as Phuket and Koh Lanta bring over night boat trips to the engaging waters around the group of islands. The Andaman sea is home to perhaps some of the finest dive sites in the whole of the country with some of the finest located around within a short boat journey of the group of islands. Nearby Krabi is regarded as having some of the world's greatest rock climbing with an abundance of limestone cliffs submerged in the waters of the Andaman Sea. The same could be said about this set of islands and in the last few years a growing trend of rock climbers have taken to the island. There are no facilities or equipment for hire on the island at present and so far is only for the experienced climber. However as the sport grows it's nly a matter of time before they become available.
